FLAMES TACKLE FOOTBALL – A DEDICATION TO EXCELLENCE​​​​​​​

Tackle football not only is a sport, it's also a way of life.  At the Flames, it is our hope to teach the love of the game and to instill the life lessons that the game of football uniquely provides.  These lessons include respect, sportsmanship, dedication, discipline, and teamsmanship.

Whether a first-year Bantam player, or an experienced varsity player who's preparing for high school football, our goal is to teach each player the right way to play while maintaining the passion that comes from playing the greatest of games.

The Lake Zurich Flames offer tackle football at the following levels:​

• Bantam
• Featherweight
• Middleweight
• Lightweight
• Varsity/Junior Varsity

Head coaches are selected by a board-appointed Coaching Committee and all coaches are required to attend on-line training prior to coaching each season to receive tackle football certification.  

Flames teams compete with towns throughout the TCYFL league at either Pac 10 or Big 10 levels.
